What is passive income?

Lets define it like this… an income source that generates you money every month and requires little to no effort on your part. So your goal should be to generate enough passive income from multiple sources that equal your total monthly expenses. If your monthly expenses are $4,000 and you generate as example $400 per month from 10 different passive sources then you are free. What I mean by free is a job would not be a requirement for you but an option.
